I am a software engineer and entrepreneur from Toronto, Canada. I studied mechatronics engineering at the University of Waterloo and founded phonic.ai (YC W20), which was acquired in 2023.
I love to run, bike, ski & canoe.

- Running an ongoing super-forecasting club.
- Researched the question “Why are VLMs so bad at design?” at SPC.
- Worked on design AI at Playground (features, pipelines, evals, etc).
- Built data platform at Phonic. Solved variety of problems in collecting and analyzing audio/video.
- Worked on “Global Intelligence” at Uber. Estimated market share to allocate incentives.
- Worked on distributed systems & display ads at Google.
